Such a celebration, when Krishna conscious believers, Sanatan are remembering of Sri Krishna telling this transcendental knowledge 5000 years ago in this auspicious time Mokshoda Ekadasi fasting day to Arjuna. BG, consisting of 18 chapters, is a part of Mahábhárata, what is an ancient, larger Indian epic. In BG Krishna is talking about the eternality of the soul. Deepawali is celebrated to mark the victory of RAMA over Ravana.Rama returned home to Ayodhya after 14 years in exile and was crowned king.Every house in Ayodhya was illuminated to welcome Him. The day after Deepawali is celebrated as GOVARDHAN PUJA when Mount Givardhan,near Mathura,is worshipped.On that day Devotees of Iskcon Sylhet keep awake the whole night and cook more then 1000 different types of food for the bhog (the offering of food ) to Krishna.The ceremony is called Annkut which means a mountain of food.Offering to the Lord then distributed as prasada to 5,000 devotees. GO PUJA : One this day,One should decorate the cows and bulls,make them run,and have the bulls plow the field(According to Hari Bhakti Bilash).
